Corona virus loss of control on Cruise liner.
The #COVID-19 outbreak, is an outbreak of global concern, a new virus has emerged and is spreading as novel viruses do, the distinction this time is that this Corona virus, compared to the SARS virus of 2002/2003 is more infectious and whilst it has a much lower case fatality rate than the SARS virus, it will infect and make many ill. More people have already died compared to the SARS outbreak.
The Corona virus is in circulation in several countries including South Korea, Japan, Iran. The situation in Iran is worrisome as their own officers have said it is probably present in all their cities, with Iran suffering sanctions over a prolonged period, outbreaks here will also harm the countries imposing the sanctions, as a result there is more suffering for humanity.
In this interview I discuss repatriation plans for the UK nationals from the Diamond Princess cruise liner. The importance of only repatriating passengers who are test negative. The infected UK passengers will be managed in Japan and then they may return home, this is a fair and reasonable action to undertake.
