My conversation with Alex Salmond . This was in August and what I said in August 2020 still applies. For the UK to have fewer lockdowns and better business continuity we need to have a policy of #Coronavirus elimination and strict controls. Controls with business and personal responsibility too. The controls come is as early as possible and as hard and fast as is possible, otherwise we face a cycle of start and stop and disruption to people and communities. It is a failure to be having a 2nd lockdown in parts of the country, this should not have been the case if we had done our “homework” properly.

Must revisit this and attend to the fundamental of infection control.
