My interview on BBC Radio 4 today programme 30-06-2020 at 7.10 am. Regarding the reintroduction of lockdown measures in Leicester.

1. Premature lifting of lockdown.
2. Not ready with test and trace
3. Test and trace is not fully operational and extensive, thus we only see the tip of the ice berg.
4. With local experts leading, it is easier, better, faster, to see developing trends and then intervene early.
5. Early interventions saves lives and allows us to regain control.
6. None of this is super complicated science, thus I am baffled and worried that serially mistakes have been made and lives are lost.
