Our leaders could do better with their messaging. Delivering messages in a dramatic style resulted in damage for the UK with an instant label of “plague island” for the UK.

Failure to implement, hard, fast and early strict controls has resulted in the UK always being behind the epidemic cure instead of ever getting ahead of it.

Testing and tracing with high case numbers will not work well, thus in the current situation, the solution is restricted movements and wait for the vaccines to deliver a way out of continued restrictions.

With the new variant of SARS-CoV-2, if it is more disease causing in school children, it will require a new way of delivering the teaching. Funding internet and computers for families in need will be a good measure to take.
