Will vaccines work against variants of Coronavirus ?

Conversation on @euronews with @Isabelle_kumar
Vaccines, from the different platforms, are expected to work, even if new dominant variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus are in circulation.

If the vaccines do not work, it is not a difficult process to reformulate vaccines to produce new mRNA to code for new version of the Coronavirus spike protein.

Whilst there is considerable mention that the new variants may be more infectious, we must also bear in mind changes in human behaviour which may lead to a rise in number of cases, cooler winter period months lead to people being indoors more so and in this environment it is easier to spread infections.

Practice the 3 C’s, even after being immunised:

Avoid crowded places.
Avoid close proximity to others.
Avoid “closed” (poorly ventilated) indoor places.
