“I worked closely with Bharat whilst I was in post at Public Health England, formerly the Health Protection Agency between 2005 and 2013.
During this time I ran over 50 multi agency tabletop exercises to test each organisations capability for the potential impact of pandemic influenza.
For many of the exercises that I ran I required the input of an ‘expert’ speaker to define the history, definition and the impact of the cause virus leading to pandemic influenza.
Being the approachable individual that he is, Bharat was able to explain the epidemiological issues elating to the virus that we were anticipating. He did this in such a way that the non health participants could easily understand the complexity of the threat.

Bharat is an enthusiastic healthcare professional who enjoys teaching (and also a challenge).
